A farmhouse, which was renovated and equipped to meet the needs of modern man, but remained externally just as it had been designed decades ago, serving agricultural and livestock work. It is located in a truly Mediterranean environment overlooking the garden and the imposing mountain of Kefalonia, Ainos. A place where you can rest under the olive trees and vines during the day and admire the stars at night. The space The space available for guests is 50 m² and includes a bedroom with a double bed, a large wooden desk and a wardrobe, a kitchen-living room with a small dining room with 4 chairs, a large fridge-freezer, a small dishwasher, a kitchen and a sofa, which also becomes a double bed, and a bathroom with a shower cabin. The building also has a 12 m² warehouse, which is used for agricultural work in periods other than tourism. It is an ideal place for 2 people who want to rest from the noisy lifestyle of a big city, who love the nature of the Ionian Islands and love isolation. The garden consists of various fruit trees, olive trees, vines, herbs and flowers. Guests can eat the ripe fruits, which are available per time period and use the herbs that grow in the garden in their cooking. It also has 2 outdoor tables and 4 chairs. Finally, with the stones from the collapsed dry stone walls, beautiful stone pens have been built. Guest access Guests can use the residence and the estate to rest under the trees, walk and taste the ripe fruit. Other things to note This farmhouse is located in the village of Thiramona, a village with an agricultural past that is trying to revive. A place where you can feel nature, with its sounds, colors and smells. If you like walking, you will reach the edges of the rocks and gaze at the amazing view of the sea, Zakynthos and even further to the Peloponnese. At the location "Vardiola" at sunset you will see one of the most beautiful sunsets. In this small village with its few permanent, peaceful inhabitants is the mini market-cafe of the hospitable Maria Alexatou with basic necessities and local products, a suitable meeting and communication place for villagers and visitors. You also have the opportunity to visit the "Petrakopoulos Winery" and taste unique wines from rare, local varieties of the vine. In the neighboring village of Mavrata you will find the restaurant-barbecue "Elios" and you will enjoy traditional, Mediterranean food. A few kilometers away in the village of Valerianos there is a supermarket and gas station of the Kolaitis family. A short distance from the village you will find beaches of unparalleled beauty, deserted, such as Koroni and Lefka and more organized, such as Kateleios, Kaminia and Skala, where there are restaurants, barbecues, bars and cafes.
