Description

Set in the village of Old Brampton on the edge of the Derbyshire Peak District, this spacious one bedroom annex with a private ensuite bathroom makes an ideal base for exploring the beauty of nearby Chatsworth, Bakewell and Matlock. Perfect location for anyone visiting family or working in the areas of Chesterfield and Sheffield. It has its own front door and parking. There are plenty of local walks with picturesque scenery surrounding the property and a wide choice of pubs and restaurant. The space As you pull in the driveway you will have access for up to two car parking spaces. You will then access your key by a code system and enter by your own private door. The annex is situated on the side of the house however is kept very separate with your own private stay. All the facilities to make your self a coffee/tea from the tassimo machine in the morning with a slice of toast from the toaster. You will be ready to set off exploring the beautiful surroundings. Guest access Coded entry to a key. During your stay You may see me out and about with my family on the front. However any problems and I am happy to try and help with whatever you need. Other things to note Perfect for attending weddings at the Fox and Goose, Peak Edge, Casa and Heathy Lea plus many more. Famous walks in the Peak District within 20 minute drive away - The Monsal Trail This beautiful route through the limestone dales is both wheelchair and pushchair friendly. Marvelling at the history of the former Midland Railway and walking through the tunnels are just a few of the highlights. Be warned though, the tunnels are only lit during daylight hours, so take along a torch in case you get caught out. Side trails head off from the 8.5 mile trail for those more adventurous wishing to explore the woodlands, rivers and nearby hills. A fitting end to the walk is Hassop Station Cafe where you can enjoy a cuppa and a cake, muddy boots and dogs are of course welcome! Edale Known by many as home to the starting point of the UK’s first long distance trail - The Pennine Way, Edale offers a multitude of walks taking in some wondrous views. A visit to the summit of Mam Tor is usually on the top of most people's bucket list, with views stretching across the Edale valley, Derwent Moors and even Kinder Scout. A trip to Mam Tor wouldn’t be complete without also walking along ‘The Great Ridge’ which offers extensive views every step of the way.
