Welcome to our brand new cottage built in 2024 in the beautiful Lake Arrowhead Community. Lake Arrowhead is one of the largest lakes in Southern Maine, with 14 private beaches and excellent fishing spots for you to enjoy. The cottage is across the street from the water, offering peaceful water views, calming lake breezes and a short 4 min walk to the beach. Enjoy the lake, hiking, fishing, restaurants and craft breweries - everything that the waters and woods of Southern Maine has to offer! The space THE PROPERTY: Off-Street Parking | Free WiFi | Lake Access via Beach 1 | Bedroom 1: Queen Bed, Air Conditioner | Bedroom 2: Twin Bunk Bed, Twin Trundle, Portable Crib, Air Conditioner | All linens included in your stay. KITCHEN: Brand new and well equipped with refrigerator, stove/oven, coffee maker, microwave, dishwasher, dishware & flatware, pots & pans, slow cooker, air fryer, toaster and spices. INDOOR LIVING: Flat-screen TV with streaming capabilities, board games, electric fireplace, ceiling fans, modern bathroom with full sized tub and shower, washer and dryer. OUTDOOR LIVING: 14 private beaches (4 minute walk to Beach 1) and boat launch. Access to 2 private Lake Arrowhead Community Clubhouses that offer two indoor pools, one seasonal outdoor pool, a fitness center, tennis courts, pool table, air hockey, basketball courts, a children’s playground and more! This is a perfect option for rainy days or on a cold day when you’d still like to swim and enjoy activities. LOCAL AREA HIGHLIGHTS: In addition to the 14 private beaches and 2 indoor pools Lake Arrowhead has to offer, the cottage is perfectly located for day trips to downtown Portland, Wells, Ogunquit, Kennebunk, Old Orchard Beach, Freeport, Kittery, and the White Mountains. If you’re looking to stay local, Waterboro and the surrounding towns of Cornish, Lyman, Sanford, Biddeford, Berkwick, Kennebunkport, or Limerick have lots to offer, including many breweries such as Xota and Funky Bow, local shops such as Wrights Chocolate House, Home Sweet Home Gifts & Decor, and plenty of restaurants like the Landlocked Lobster Pound, Oak Street Bistro, Dufour, Krista’s, Doughboy Donuts, and Shain’s of Maine. The Cottage in Lake Arrowhead is the perfect destination for any season. In the summer you can enjoy lake life with swimming, boating, fishing, and ATV’ing. Cooler or rainy weather offers the opportunity to take advantage of the Community’s indoor pools, gym and rec room. The fall season provides opportunities for leaf peeping, hiking, biking, fishing, ATV’ing. Winter months offer ice fishing, great snowmobiling, skating and cross-country skiing. Guest access We have a keypad on the door with a code that will be provided upon check-in. The cottage is located directly across the street from the lake, on a wooded road, with very little traffic and lots of privacy. Driveway parking that can accommodate 3 cars (driveway is steep, so please use caution when parking cars.) Other things to note We offer free Wifi, and streaming services are available with guests' own accounts. Please don't forget to log out at the end of your stay. Lake Arrowhead features 14 private beaches and three pools for you to enjoy. Please note there is NO LIFEGUARD on duty so be safe and swim at your own risk. Life jackets are available at the cottage but you are welcome to bring your own in order to accommodate all sizes that might be needed. You must be 25 years or older to rent this property. We ask that you respect our neighbors and the lake community. We do not permit parties or large events. We have a strict no smoking/vaping policy - $250 fee. Pets are not allowed on the property - $250 fee. The driveway is steep, so please use caution when parking cars. Campfires are only permitted in enclosed pits. We will have a portable fire pit available for use. Occupancy is limited to 5 guests. Additional guests will incur a $100 fee.
