Excellent road and rail links directly into Cardiff with Pentrebach train station a 2 minute walk from the front door, so perfectly located for sporting events and concerts at the stadium. It's just 10 miles from the Brecon Beacons and Zip World The space *WE WILL ALSO CONSIDER 1 NIGHT STAYS BUT PLEASE BE AWARE THE PRICE YOU SEE IS FOR A MINIMUM 2 NIGHT STAY. A CLEANING FEE (£40) WOULD NEED TO BE ADDED TO THE COST PLUS A FEE PER GUEST (£25) OVER 2 PEOPLE* ❤️ NEW BBQ AND FIRE PIT READY FOR THOSE SUMMER EVENINGS AFTER AN EVENTFUL DAY ❤️ A Large Victorian style end terraced property with a modern touches that has now become an established Airbnb and somewhat of a guests favourite. The downstairs consists of a large hallway leading to a open plan living/dining room, with a comfortable large 4 seater sofa and 2 giant bean bags. A 65" smart TV (all apps including IPTV) and free unlimited high speed fibre internet. Dinning table and chairs for 6 guests to sit comfortably (please note the gas fire is disconnected and only there as a feature). The kitchen has range gas/electric cooker, breakfast bar seating area for 4, a downstairs bathroom with a large bath (with shampoo and shower gel provided), utility room with a separate fridge freezer and washing machine, plus under stairs storage if required. Upstairs you will enjoy 3 double bedrooms - and not a single bed in sight/bunkbed in sight. Bedroom 1 (the main/master room - middle bedroom) you will find a king size medium firm bed, with soft bamboo memory topper for extra comfort and modern decoration (hair dryer supplied) Bedroom 2 (back bedroom) you will find similar décor, a double medium firm bed with soft bamboo memory topper for extra comfort. Bedroom 3 (front bedroom) is a twin room with 2x medium firm double beds opposite each other with similar décor and a soft bamboo memory topper for extra comfort. You will also find the upstairs shower room (supplied with shampoo and shower gel). Outside space includes a hard stand for parking through a roller shutter door (max height 2.3m see photo's of my Ford Tourneo and guests VW Transporter). A secure shed with a bike rack for 6 bikes, helmet mounts and security anchors and chain (you will require to bring your own lock if required). We also offer full wash facilities including 2 maintenance stands, another 6 bike rack, pressure washer, hose pipe and mains power. The full outside of the property is also covered with CCTV for your peace of mind. A outside table with 2 benches comfortably seats 6 guests for you to relax. The village of Abercanaid is directly under (BPW) Bike Park Wales. We are 250 meters from the Taff trail, approximately a mile walk or 5-10 mins bike ride up to the Bike Park Wales, or approximately a 5 minutes drive out of the village. We have a convenience store at the top of the street and 3 family run pubs in the village. There is also a table-table family run restaurant with spacious grounds, a co-op, home bargains, Iceland, Halfords, Greggs and a pure gym all within a 5 minute walk. Excellent transport links directly on to the A470/ A465 heads of the valleys gives you the perfect location to explore everything the South Wales valleys and beyond has to offer. The property is also 150m from Pentrebach railway station with direct links going to Merthyr (5 minuets) and Cardiff (55 minutes), Ideal for any sporting/music event to take the hassle out of driving and parking in the city. There are also buses running to Merthyr, Cardiff, Brecon and other locations should you require. There is also side and rear access once you have gained initial access and collected the keys from us in person or from the security lock box (details will be provided before the check-in day) There is residential street parking (no permit required) on a first come first served basis, we also have a roller shutter door that you can access from the lane on to a private hard stand. There is width and height restriction for the type of vehicle you will be able to park, I can get my Ford Tourneo and VW Transporter in as a guide (see photo - MAX HIGHT 2.3m) Other things to note Please look at the photos of the property. We will do our best to show accurate up to date photos (the layout will stay the same - but bedding and colours will change after each stay). The property is advertised to sleep up to 8 guests. This is purely down to 1x king size bed and 3x double beds that can be shared. The kitchen “breakfast bar” can seat 4 guests, the dining table can seat 6, the sofa is a large 4 seater but we have provided 2 large beanbags for more practical seating for you to relax and chill out while watching TV. We are still new to hosting on Airbnb but rest assured we will do our upmost to make sure you enjoy the stay, our reviews will speak for themselves and we strive to keep our 5* Super host status.
