The Hungary Brook Stay in Granby

A relaxing natural surrounding private home with a 3 room suite to stay and play located on top of the CT Farmington River Valley close to services such as Bradley Airport, business, and entertainment venues. The Hungary Suite in Granby consists of 2 bedrooms (King/Double) full bath with jacuzzi, and a kitchenette/living room with a private entrance. Privacy. Near hiking and biking trails. The suite overlooks the Hungary Brook creating a private resort park feel with your stay. The space We are located in Granby, CT at the base of Manitook Mountain in park like property on 4 acres with Gazeebos, a pool, grills, and the Hungary Brook runs through the backyard. Lake Congamond is under a 10 minute drive. Hiking and Bike trails just down the road. Parking for 2 vehicles is available in the Guest Parking area at the end of the driveway. Enter from the front walkway to the front steps that is your private entrance to the 3 room suite. There is a welcome table in the foyer. To the left on the first floor is the kitchenette/living area with a kitchen sink, small refrigerator, microwave, table and chairs, coffee maker(Keurig), and sofa for relaxing. Upstairs are the 2 bedrooms connected to each other along with each having private doors to the hallway The master bedroom has a comfy King size bed, large screen TV with Roku access, an adjacent Bathroom with Jacuzzi and shower, walk in closet, hair dryer, an outdoor deck to view the mountainside, property, and pool area from above. The second bedroom has a Queen size bed with closet storage, a small work desk, and nice full size windows to view the front property and let in the light. It can be accessed from the hall or master bedroom. All rooms have locks and the master bedroom has a combo turn latch for extra security. Guests are allowed access to the 33 foot oval above ground pool. The pool is opened from 8am to 10:00pm. Pool chairs and some pool toys will be available. Please note there are 2 black cats who live on the property and our not allowed in the guest suite. Guests have access to the gazebo area and use of the charcoal grill there. guests can also use the fire pit for a real camp fire feel with the sound of the brook. The barn and paddock area are currently used for storage and maintenance. The brook and small pond is available for exploring, fishing, or relaxing to the sound of it flowing. Guest access The suite has a private entrance in front of the home. Enter the red door. There is a lockbox on the door knob. The kitchenette/living area is open space to the left. Guests have use to all amenities available in the rooms including coffee maker, mini fridge, microwave, hair dryer, shampoo/conditioner, and balcony. Outdoors: Guests have access to the Gazebos, charcoal grill, pool, and brook area. Please be careful and mindful of any lawn maintenance equipment that may be out. Hungary Brook runs through the back area at the property line and fishing is allowed. The 33 foot oval above ground pool is open to guests from 8am to 10:00pm. No jumping or diving Please! Parking is at the end of the driveway to the right in the designated guest area which will have a sign. Up to 2 vehicles are allowed in the guest parking area.
