Hellenthal Lofts 203 - Downtown Apartment

Built in 1916 during Juneau's mining heyday, the historic Hellenthal building was completely renovated in 2017-2018. This 605 square-foot studio is located right in the center of downtown, within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops, bars, breweries, a distillery, the tram, museums, docks, tour departure and shuttle pickup points, and all other downtown amenities. The space Although it is located above retail spaces, this apartment can be accessed from North Franklin Street without having to climb stairs. There is a queen size bed and a twin size pull-out sofa. Appliances include front loading washer and dryer, built-in microwave, dishwasher, and 65" 4K UHD TV. The galley kitchen features porcelain tile countertops, and the large south-facing windows have a view of Gastineau Channel and the mountains of Douglas Island. The layout is open, and a partial wall separates the bed and living areas. Guest access A keypad allows access to the common hallways of the building. There is another keypad for access to your apartment. Other things to note Like most of downtown Juneau, we do not have our own parking spaces. Most of our guests with cars use the convenient city-owned parking lot at 2nd and North Franklin, on the uphill side of the Baranof Hotel. This lot costs 75 cents per hour during business hours and is free evenings and weekends, and spaces are almost always available. Overnight parking is allowed here during the summer months. There is also free parking on the streets, but it is limited to two hours during weekday business hours and finding a space isn't always easy. Overnight parking is allowed on the street. The entire apartment has an open layout. There are no enclosed bedrooms with closing doors. This place might not be suitable for groups in which individuals require privacy.
