Cozy up in 2 bedrooms plus a sleeper sofa, with a remodeled bathroom featuring heated floors. Great for fishing, swimming, or relaxing year-round. Just 15 mins from Augusta and close to Maine’s best coastal towns. Book your stay and make lasting memories! The space Just 15 minutes from the interstate of Maine’s Capitol, Augusta, Duck Lane is a quaint slice of heaven. Enjoy the sunrise with the sound of the loons and the sunset from the beautifully enclosed porch or private dock with a wide open lake view. The porch boasts a mini fridge, picnic table, rocking chair, and 2 rattan couches. Enough seats for all! The camp is filled with towels, extra bedding, and washer and dryer. A fully equipped kitchen with a Nespresso coffee & tea bar are located in the kitchen. 2 kayaks available to use during your stay, with life jackets and paddles included. Roast s’more’s by the fire pit outside while creating new memories with loved ones. There is also a grill available for use outside and lobster steaming essentials🦞 *The road is part of a snowmobile access trail. *Neighbors son’s dog is sometimes around and very friendly. Feel free to let us know if that doesn’t work for you so we can let him know.* LAKE INFO: Threemile Pond in Windsor, ME, is stocked with brown trout, smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, pickerel, and white perch. A fishing license is necessary to fish on Maine waters. More info on the states website as well as obtaining a license online can be found online by searching Maine fishing and boating laws in Google. There are fishing poles available for use on the enclosed sunroom. Life jackets must be worn if you’re using the kayaks. In the summer our docking system will be set in the water. You may launch your boat at the public boat launch just a stone throw away from camp. You must have enough life jackets on board for number of people on the boat. Duck Lane is not liable for any tickets or damage to personal items. Guests may be held liable for damage caused to our property and items. CAMP INFO: A king size bed can be found in the room to the right and a queen size bed can be found in the bedroom by the bathroom. Bedrooms are stocked with 100% cotton sheets and include new flooring and a heater. There is also a white sleeper sofa in the main living area. The cottage can sleep 6 comfortably with the option of an air mattress and the other couch for extra space. Fully stocked kitchen with a Nespresso coffee maker, toaster, microwave, air fryer, and more. Dining room table enjoys a nice lakeside view, with the cozy living room and smart tv across the room. The bathroom is newly remodeled with double sinks, a tub, and heated floors! You don’t want to miss it!! *Shower and bathroom essentials available. Here are some 📍highlights for day trips or excursions: 📍Bar Harbor & Acadia National Park (1.5 hour drive) • Explore the charming coastal town of Bar Harbor with its shops, restaurants, and stunning harbor views. • Hike or drive through Acadia National Park, famous for Cadillac Mountain, Sand Beach, and Thunder Hole. • Enjoy a whale-watching tour or kayak in Frenchman Bay. 📍Boothbay Harbor (1 hour drive) • A quaint coastal town offering boat tours, lighthouses, and fresh seafood. • Visit the Coastal Maine Botanical Gardens, one of the largest in the country. 📍Camden (1 hour drive) • Known as the “Jewel of the Coast,” Camden offers picturesque harbor views and a charming downtown. • Hike Mount Battie for sweeping views of Penobscot Bay. 📍Rockland (50 minutes drive) • Explore the Farnsworth Art Museum and its collection of Maine-inspired works. • Enjoy fresh lobster at the Rockland Breakwater Lighthouse. 📍Kennebec River Valley • Take a scenic nature walk at local Vassalboro trails or Viles Arboretum in Augusta. • Visit Fort Western in Augusta for a colonial history experience. • Take a scenic riverboat cruise from Hallowell or Richmond. Visit downtown Hallowell for great food options and cute shops to poke around. There is also a nice river view with colorful chairs to enjoy. These destinations offer an excellent mix of iconic Maine beauty, cultural experiences, and activities that complement the peaceful charm of Threemile Pond. Guest access Help yourself to any part of the camp. The only spot we ask you to avoid is the closet in the laundry room as that is our extra storage space. The white standing cabinet in the entry way is full of beach towels, summer steaming essentials, and laundry needs. The closet by the kitchen contains the vacuum, broom and dustpan, as well as a griddle.
