Havenly Cabin in Maineville
Description
Havenly Cabin is aptly named. Come relax at this welcoming, beautiful haven. This 1901 timber-frame barn, built on top of a creek, was converted into a peaceful, unique, modern yet rustic, cozy cabin. The history is rich; the amenities thoughtful. Havenly Cabin also boasts a central location to several charming river towns along the Little Miami River, including Loveland, Maineville, Milford, and Morrow. It's ten minutes from Kings Island Amusement Park and quick access to the bike trail. The space Havenly is a spacious, though quaint, cabin. An open entryway leads into a cozy living space with a comfy sectional. A small step takes you into the kitchen, where live-edge, cherry wood shelves and a custom-built island bring this space to life. The antique kitchen table is the perfect place to share a meal that you cooked on the gas stove. Step outside to the back porch with cushy seating to enjoy your morning cup of coffee or tea. The trees and creek offer a peaceful spot to land at anytime during your trip. A good rain brings out the life of the creek and the charm of the tin roof. The bathroom, located off the kitchen, is bright and clean with a beautiful standing shower. The shower is 30” x 30” so please be aware it’s on the smaller size as you plan for your trip. Wooden stairs wind their way up to the open, lofted sleeping area where the original, early-1900’s barn wall creates an amazing backdrop for the space. A queen bed occupies one end of the loft, while a sitting area with a futon fills the space of the other end. The futon is a perfect spot for a child to sleep. A small desk is provided as well for those looking to get a little work done. Lots of natural light, wood elements, and plants throughout the space provide a luxury, yet rustic and cozy vibe. Guest access Please feel free to use the playground if kids are present. Other things to note Havenly Cabin is a guesthouse. It is completely separate from the main property, but it does share a driveway. It backs up to hills and a seasonal creek and feels like a private little oasis, even though it’s close to everything.
