Racour Station: 'Grand Logement des Piocheurs'

Welcome to Station Racour in our vacation home "Le Grand Logement des Piocheurs." We, Jo and Hilde live on the site of the former Station of Racour. In our landscape garden, we recently built a new vacation home that is architecturally inspired by our railway hut "Le Logement des Piocheurs," which was the place where the railway workers stayed at the time. Our new lodging is sustainably built in a wood skeleton and also on the ground floor is uniquely adapted for wheelchair users. The space Our new accommodation is sustainably built in wooden skeleton and also uniquely adapted for wheelchair users on the ground floor. The kitchen has a worktop that is wheelchair accessible and adjustable in height, as well as the kitchen cabinets. The bathroom is extra spacious for the wheelchair with an adapted toilet with brackets and a shower with a seat. On the ground floor, there is a bedroom with a double bed. Thanks to our homemade wheelchair with wide tires, everyone can enjoy our garden and the surroundings. On the mezzanine, there is sleeping space for 2 or 4 people with extra private toilet, sink and shower. Everybody is welcome to come and enjoy peace and quiet. Other things to note Our house rules: - No parties and events allowed - No smoking in the house - Fireworks are not allowed -It is mandatory to separate waste -Out of respect for nature and neighbors, silence is required around this vacation home between 8 a.m. and 10 p.m.
