Charming Cottage Retreat

Located hillside overlooking lake, mountain & ravine views (even a sweeping panoramic of North America's largest mountain cherry farm). An 'off-grid' wilderness retreat setting within easy driving access from the cities of Kelowna & Vernon BC. Miles of hiking, biking. There is even a 50' swim pond to cool off on hot days just up the trail! We ask for min 2 night bookings on long W/E's :) The space Unbeatable price for this type of space and retreat experience! A comfy futon is provided along with a candlelit bar counter (off-grid = sans electricity) and seating area. You will want to bring as much camp gear to suit your level of comfort; sleeping gear, towels etc. Bedding linens (includes a blanket) are available for $20 with advance request.☺ Guest access Full toilet, washroom and shower facilities building located adjacent to the cottage bungalows. As we are off-grid the water temp is the air temp and water conservation is stressed. Other things to note Although we are off-grid things are still pretty comfy; heat / cooking is by woodstove and campfire (We have split prepared firewood for sale for a reasonable $10 per milk crate if ordered prior to 10am the day of arrival ($12.50 after at the Mainhouse), or there is usually plenty of free u-pick dead fall. If you bring your own wood it must be clean seasoned firewood, no construction Lumber or debris and no power saws allowed. No drones or flying therof are permitted for the area. Prepared foods work best and although our water is mountain fresh you will need to bring your own drinking water. With the dry Okanagan weather bugs usually aren't too much of a problem but if it is cooler & wet bug repellant will come in handy if ur sensitive to them! Bring as much camp / gear for your comfort level; cookware, lantern lights, bedding, towels etc. Bedding linens (includes a blanket) can be provided on advance request for $20.
