The space The apartment is located on site at our family home, it is a 2 bedroom self contained apartment above a detached garage. There are stairs to the entrance as shown in photos. We have plenty of onsite parking and it is fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. Including cooker, washing machine, hair dryer, extra bed sheets, towels, toiletries and condiment for your use. We are just 5.1 miles from Belfast International Airport, 15 miles from Belfast city centre and 6.5 miles from Antrim. If you need to attend an event or are looking for some relaxation we are just 1.8 miles from the Rabbit Hotel and 2.3 miles from the Kingfisher Estate. The local village where we are located has buses to Belfast every 20 mins throughout the day and up to 22.30 at night, taking you straight to and from the city centre in 20 mins. In Belfast you can visit the Titanic museum, take a bus tour of all the key city spots, do some shopping, or just hit the bars and restaurants. The local village also hosts an excellent local shop complex which has a large Spar, Chinese restaurant, ice cream shop, small cafe, pharmacy and a Winemark. It has a great selection of things to choose from! In the nearest town of Antrim you will find access to buses and trains, Junction One Shopping Outlet, Antrim Castle Gardens, the loughshore park, cafes, restaurants, bars and retail shops. It’s just 3 miles to the M2 motorway where you can head an hour North to the Coast where you will find Portrush, Portstewart, the Giants Causeway, Bushmills distillery, beaches and cafes. Despite the excellent location we highly recommend that you have a car so that you can get the best experience when staying at our property. Ubers are not available on the area, taxis need to be booked in advance and there is a 25-30 minute walk on country roads to access the local buses. Guest access The apartment is located on the first floor with access by a set of stairs. Guests can park in front of the garage. There is no outdoor area but a small set of seats can be provided on request if the weather happens to be good! Other things to note There is an excellent shop nearby but not within walking distance, it is about 1.5 miles away, so a car is recommended. The property is situated at the end of a lane on a quiet country road, with grounds and fields nearby, it is not closed in around the perimeter. Please use the driving instructions and photographs of the location to enter the correct property. The instructions are detailed and clear so please do not enter our neighbours premises. While the location offers great proximity to many key spots, it is essential to have a car as public transport options are limited. If arriving by taxi, we suggest stopping for groceries before you check in. Unfortunately, I won’t be able to provide grocery shopping for guests.
