Country Cottage Getaway with Wood Fired Hot Tub

Relax and unwind with family and friends at this tranquil rural property. Our 400 year old cottage is set within 4 acres of private land, we are surrounded by fields and are a 10 minute walk from the Medway perfect for a cooling dip. We have a post river swim outdoor shower and wood fired hot tub. Trampoline and badminton for the kids. Inside, cosy low beamed ceilings with inglenook fireplaces. A modern kitchen with all appliances, including hot water tap and integrated Sonos sound system. The space Beautifully decorated large country cottage surrounded by fields and close to the river. Our 400 year old cottage has low beamed ceilings in the older part of the house while the new extension contains a modern kitchen with all amenities and a large, high ceilinged master bedroom complete with a bath. Large open plan sitting room with bifold doors that open out onto the outside dining area and a large inglenook fireplace. We also have a cosy reading room with fireplace. Upstairs there is a large landing with a sofa bed and 5 bedrooms. Guest access Guests can access the majority of the house and grounds but not the sheds behind the house. Other things to note Extra sofa bed available on the landing although there are no curtains in this area. This is a very old property, all bedrooms are upstairs, 2 are accessed by fairly narrow staircases. In some areas ceilings are very low with beams. We also have a cat called Rocco, we can arrange for someone to come in to feed him but can leave food out if you don’t mind filling his bowl!
