The Blue Room at Vevstogo

Apartment in former Kvåle school from 1884. Vevstogo is centrally located for guests who want to enjoy nature, experience Jotunheimen's airy peaks and is close to ski and cross-country facilities. The house is located right by Slidrefjorden with paddling and fishing opportunities, with fantastic views of the mighty mountains in Vang. Current distances (by car): Grocery store: 6 min Cross-country track: 10 min Filefjell: 50 min Beitostølen: 30 min The space The room is located in an old school building, where there are several overnight rooms on the second floor, while this room shares the 1st floor with the old classrooms. The old classrooms have been converted into a dining room. The house also has a large garden where there is a good space for large and small. The garden has many seating areas, barbecue area, we grow vegetables, have a chicken coop and maybe the cat that lives in the area will peek up to get some comfort. In summer, there are horses in the field below. The room is large and has a double bed as well as a bunk bed for overnight guests. Amazing views of Jotunheimen and Slidrefjorden. Here you have access to toilet in the hallway and shower in connection with the sauna area (in a separate building). Guest access Guests have access to a private room on the ground floor, as well as a shared toilet right outside the room. In addition, you will have access to the sauna in a separate building next to the main house. During your stay We live right near the building in the summer. Other things to note This room does not have its own shower, and does not have its own kitchen. In summer, we have access to a shower in the sauna building next to the main house. If you stay over several nights in winter, we can give you access to a shower in the apartment on the 2nd floor.
