BABhouse Casa D'ouro (Golden House) 156885/AL We invite you to our home, which was restored from a typical village house, the home of the Ribeiro family. The owner of the house, Mr. Manuel Ribeiro, dedicated his entire life to goldsmithing and his activity inspired us in the decoration of the house. The main objective of the restoration was to keep the space faithful to the original house, thus preserving the identity of this family's home. The space The house has two floors and on the upper floor you will find a living room where you can relax and enjoy the TV. Adjacent to this space, you will find a full bathroom. It also has a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area, so you can prepare and experience traditional Portuguese flavors. On this floor, there is also the master bedroom with a queen-size bed with a privileged view over the vineyards. On the lower floor, you will find two more bedrooms, both with queen-size beds. The apartment is located in the village of Nagoselo do Douro, in the heart of the demarcated Douro region. Here you can enjoy a rural experience with a unique setting filled with unforgettable landscapes. It has a river beach for refreshing moments and beautiful routes for hiking and photography through the vineyards. Near our apartment, you will find Aunt Isabel's mini-market with all the local products and anything you might need. The baker distributes fresh bread every day, makes a daily route through the streets of Nagoselo and one of his stops is at our house. In São João da Pesqueira, Espinho do Douro and Ervedosa do Douro near Nagoselo, you will find very nice restaurants with traditional Portuguese food made with the best products of the land. You can also visit the picturesque cultural cities and towns just 20/40 km away, namely: Régua; Pinhão; Vila Real; Carrazeda de Ansiães; Vila Flor; Foz Côa. Notes: The city of Porto, considered the best European destination in 2017 by European Consumers Choice, is about 150 km (2 hours by car) away, where the nearest airport is located - Francisco Sá Carneiro. Guest access In our village you will feel at home because you will be warmly welcomed by all the Nagoselenses, nicknamed Babaus, the name that baptizes our project. Throughout the stay, you will always have support either on the digital channel, by Leonor, or in person by residents in the village, namely by our friend Kátia and by Aunt Isabel.
