The cosily small ascetic barn room, open to 1 guest, is located in the courtyard of a 150-year-old farmhouse, that is a well-preserved authentic barn-dwelling surrounded by wild forest and farmland echoing with the cries of the marsh cranes. The space As mentioned, the barn room is located in the courtyard of a 150-year-old farmhouse. It's a small and ascetic windowless room, where light can be let in through an open door (privacy is ensured by a tulle curtain). The room has air vents so the air is always fresh. Next to the barn house there is a picturesque pond, which is fed by a stream, where you can cool off and wash. The pond is adorned with water lilies and is a permanent habitat for spectacular green water frogs. Guest access In addition to the room, guests are also welcome to enjoy the area around the barn-building, where they can rest or have meal in the open air. The toilet is not just a toilet, but "tower-toilet" with stunning views. It is located behind the main building. Guests can use the open barbecue area in the farm's old apple orchard. During your stay If we are not on site, guests can contact us by mobile phone or Messanger. Other things to note By prior arrangement and if we are on site ourselves, we can also provide a pleasurable breakfast for an additional fee. Occasionally, also a lunch or dinner. As a hint: there is a wonderful family café just a 5-minute drive away, serving top-quality coffee, delicious cinnamon rolls, other baked goods and soup. If you wish, and with prior notice, you’re welcome to lend a hand with traditional countryside activities such as beekeeping, hey mowing, or chopping firewood. We can also discuss the possibility of experiencing a spectacular, traditional-style sauna for an additional fee. We usually heat the sauna on weekends.
