Cozy Hideaway! 10 min to Torch, 30 min to TC!

A hidden gem and rustic getaway perched next to a cascading creek! 320 sqft tent and beautifully crafted framework was constructed with timber from the property! Feel relaxed while you're sitting on the covered porch or cozied up on the couch with a good book. 15 acres of forest to unwind w/out the stress of setup! We provide bedding, cook stove, pots, pans, and basic essentials. An outhouse (newly built, naturally lit) is close, but not too close to the tent. Woodstove for heat source. The space This tent is built on an elevated platform accessible by stairs. It is not toddler proof. The doors and windows are screened and can be zippered closed if desired. There are not framed doors that lock, as it's a tent :) This is our own family getaway, too, it always feels safe! You get all of the benefits of a great off grid experience, but with the comfort of a real bed, kitchen space, a table for games, puzzles, and meals, twinkly lights, ELECTRICITY and a cozy living room space. This is a one room/studio layout. A second bed option is a pull out couch in the living room (seen in photos). Wood stove for heating tent on chilly nights. Guest access The tent and fifteen acres of wooded property are all yours to enjoy! Other things to note We will provide: -5 gallons of potable drinking water -12 volt battery/inverter for 110 electricity. -outhouse -relaxing, clean, unique environment! The tent does NOT have indoor plumbing. Please note, parking is a short distance from the tent. You cannot drive up to the tent so please consider that you'll have to carry items up a small hill. Trust us, it's worth it!
