Our accommodation is located in the Biscayan municipality of Gatika, in Garai Auzoa, a neighborhood surrounded by green spaces and with tranquility as a neighbor. It is a 2-story farmhouse with spacious interiors with all the comforts to enjoy as a group. It has a total capacity of 8 people. The space The interior of the house has underfloor heating and is distributed in: A large ground floor with an open design that integrates several rooms. What makes this space special is the brightness and views that pass through the windows. A living room where you can relax and enjoy the views of the landscape, accommodated in the set of 2 beige sofas that are located in front of the television. You can also watch the sunset while you eat, as there is a large dining table with chairs in front of one of the windows. White furniture kitchen with an extensive countertop and fully equipped with all kinds of appliances. There will be nothing to prevent you from cooking like at home. At your disposal: oven, microwave, ceramic hob with several burners, refrigerator and kitchenware. The bathrooms and bedrooms are located in separate rooms, spread over both floors. Up the stairs you have a seating area with a couple of armchairs. 2 full and functional bathrooms because among the toilets you will find in both a shower floor. There is also a toilet and sink with mirror. And when we say complete it's not a figure of speech, inside the shower there are gel and shampoo dispensers; and in the sink cabinet we will leave you a hairdryer and a set of towels. In total 4 rooms furnished with mirror, bedside tables with lamps, desk and of course comfortable beds. They are organized in: 2 bedrooms with a double bed in each. 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds per room. Outside: A spacious garden. Parking for up to 4 cars. Gatika is a beautiful municipality that is located in an incomparable rural setting, surrounded by large green areas that invite you to take long and pleasant walks. Sitting on the Butrón River and consisting of nine neighborhoods, the municipality has a rich historical heritage. Thus, the best-known image of Gatika is undoubtedly the beautiful Butrón Castle, a grandiose Gothic building that was built on a late medieval tower-house from the 14th and 15th centuries. The scene of continuous and bloody battles, it is located in a natural environment of great beauty, which houses a sports recreation area and a botanical garden. Also, in its vicinity, we will find the hermitage of the Magdalena. On the other hand, in the urban center of Gatika itself, it is worth visiting the 16th century church of Santa María, which stands out for its classicist tower, the fronton and the town hall of the municipality. Within the festive calendar, the feast of San Marcos, which takes place on April 25, stands out. During this day, an agricultural and livestock fair is organized. However, Gatika's main festivities are held at the end of August in honor of San Bartolomé. From gastronomic competitions of tortillas and paellas, to activities as varied as humorous rallies, donkey races and beret throwing, this town shows its most cheerful side during these dates.
