Ascending the staircase from the entrance hall, you'll find yourself in a spacious and inviting living area spread over two floors. The lounge dining area is a true embodiment of the properties historical charm, where traditional wooden beams traverse the ceiling adding rustic elegance. There are two king-size bedrooms one of which also showcases the same traditional wooden beams. Both are adorned with sumptuous king size beds and promise a restful slumber after a day of exploration. The property also has two single rooms. First floor Living room and dining area: Smart TV with Freeview and high-speed broadband throughout the property Bedroom 1: king size bed, chest of drawers, clothes hanging rail, bedside cabinet, ensuite shower room. Views over the village and hills beyond. Bedroom 2: single bed, chest of drawers, bedside table and chair. Kitchen: electric cooker, microwave, coffee machine, washing machine, dishwasher and everything else you may need to prepare meals. Bathroom: stand-alone shower, hand basin and toilet. Upper floor Bedroom 3: king size bed, chest of drawers, clothes hanging rail, bedside tables and chairs. Views over the village and hills beyond. Car parking: the property has two private parking spaces for use by guests Close by Kilmartin museum is a 2-minute walk away with paths that will take you down through the historic Glen. The Kilmartin Hotel, selling excellent food and drink is also just a few hundred yards away. The famous Crinan Canal is 7 miles away. The town of Oban, where you can access sailings to the west coast isles is less than an hour away. The historic town of Inveraray and its famous jail and castle are less than an hour away. To the south you will find the breath-taking Kintyre Peninsula and ferry ports for Arran and Islay where you can sample many of the islands famous malt whiskies. Loch Awe which is famous for trout and pike fishing begins just 15 minutes from the property. The area offers various sea boat trips for fishing and sightseeing.
