Earth and Color House

Casa Tierra y Color welcomes you to the historic center of Tunja, where you can discover the history of the Muisca and colonial capital city, but with the calm and quiet of a rural area. We don't have TVs in the house, so you can fully enjoy reading, writing, cooking, conversation, board games, romance... The space House from 1909 built in Colombia's "Republican" style, conserved and restored with traditional construction materials like adobe, wattle-and-daub, and rammed earth. It is our family home, and we have imbued it with everything we consider important. The house has systems to recover and reuse rainwater and greywater, as well as a greenhouse on the top floor for producing fresh fruits and vegetables. We have rooms fit for 1, 2, 3, or 4 people, so you can rent the entire house or individual rooms (check our other listings). Registration details 116067
