I am an American who purchased this ancient home in the heart of the quiet village Crezancy-en-Sancerre.There is a restaurant/bar and butcher in the village. The proximity to Sancerre (10min. by car) Two wine domaine’s within walking distance for tasting. You have your own apartment space located in a grand old home from the 1800’s that was once a bar-hotel. There is a shared garden space to relax. This is a new listing for me ..always improving! Plz message me if dates are unavailable. The space This old beautiful renovated apartment has an concept kitchen/dining & living space with desk for work. Separate bedroom with queen bed. Bathroom in entry area with sink, toilet & shower ( size of shower is small but curtain allows for space) The apartment entry has two doors one to exterior and one adjoining to the main home that remains locked during stay. The apt is on the premier floor. (Footsteps may be heard from upstairs or noises from the premier floor kitchen ) The exterior garden is shared space. Guest always have the priority! This house is in the village of Crezancy so the homes are in close proximity. Neighbor’s can be heard ..as well as the church clock on the hour and half-hour. Village life. We also are surrounded by many wine fields and farm areas so tractors can be heard going through the village. It is a true experience of living in a wine making area! During the fall/ winter months many places are closed so please check for restaurants etc. There is a fully equipped kitchen to cook as well.. if desired. Note: The Carrefour in Sancerre is the closest market( 10 minute drive.) Please note that this is a non-smoking residence. Other things to note Wine tastings can be also organized if needed.
