Walk into the entrance hall there is a generous size living room to your left with 2 large comfortable sofas and a cuddle chair. An enormous sky glass tv will keep you entertained throughout your stay. The kitchen is very well equipped with a 6 burner gas hob, electric oven, and separate grill, microwave, dishwasher, American fridge freezer and all the essentials. Plenty of storage and well stocked crockery and cutlery. A dining table in the window over looking the small private back garden. Just off the kitchen is a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a separate WC downstairs. Upstairs you will find 2 king bedrooms and family bathroom with shower and bath and 1 super king bedroom with ensuite shower room. There is an additional single bedroom and office downstairs which is used for stage but can be made available on request. Outside there is street parking for 2 cars. A short walk from Puffin house you will can access the center of Barnard Castle with its many unique shops, antique shops, delis, butchers and other high street names. There is a wide selection of excellent restaurants and eateries to choose from - all a short walk away. We recommend exploring down by the river, the castle and Bowes Museum. Thorpe farm and Mainsgill farm shops are a short drive away and well worth a visit. Situated on the edge of the North Pennines and the Yorkshire dales this really is a gateway for exploring the best of British Countryside.
