With over an acre of garden containing a large trampoline and hot tub; this is a perfect spot for families with plenty of space for the little ones to play and explore. Only two minutes from the town of Flúðir. The space With four bedrooms and two bathrooms, this is the perfect space for a friend or family group. Inside, there are plenty of boardgames, children's toys, books, and puzzles for a cozy Icelandic experience. However, outside is where the property really shines, with a spacious patio overlooking the peaceful garden. Sit back and try and spot some local birdlife from the outdoor hot tub, or grill up some Icelandic hotdogs and relax. For more active guests, there is a large trampoline for kids and grown up kids available in the summer months, and plenty of walks, trails, and hikes just a stones throw away. This countryside location is idea for Northern Lights hunters too, with very little light pollution. The kitchen comes fully equipped with an induction stove, kettle, coffee maker, as well as of course glassware and tableware and other basics. There is also a washer/dryer for guests use too. With stunning views, this property is an ideal Icelandic cozy getaway, whilst also being in the heart of Iceland's most popular tourist route, the Golden Circle. Both Geysir and the waterfall Gulfoss are 25-30 mins away driving alongside many other stunning natural attractions and hikes. Additionally, if you want to take a dip in the famous Secret Lagoon, it’s just a 2 minute drive away. The town of Fluðir, which we are right beside, offers a local shop for groceries, a swimming pool, and outdoor play areas for kids. The garden is marked out by a fence and of course free to explore as you wish, but be aware that both the garage directly beside the house and the large shed in the garden are currently having some work done to them, and are both off limits to guests.
