Church Stretton Small DBL room for females

Basic room + use of bathroom, large kitchen and garden/ terrace, right in the centre of town-walk to everything including our glorious AONB hills! Secure, dry cycle storage + drying and boot room. Free breakfast for anyone arriving by public transport. 5 minutes from the station. Plenty of pubs and cafes and I'm happy to share my favourite walks. Please note due to the small size of the house and location of the bathroom , this accommodation is only suitable for female guests. The space The house is ideal for a short stay if you are keen to do some walking in our beautiful hills. No need to bring a car as Church Stretton has a station ( on the Cardiff to Manchester line) and everything is in within walking distance. Lots of nice independent shops and numerous cafes + a deli and supermarket within a few minutes of the house. So too are many glorious walks which I am happy to advise you on. Yesterday I saw and heard skylarks and watched a red kite circling. There are plenty of other things to enjoy- Live music at the Kings Arms pub. Numerous cafes and tea rooms in a compact town full of independent shops. Star Gazing - up on the Long Mynd - a short drive or a stiff hike from the house is a designated Dark Sky area where you can enjoy peace, stillness and communing with the universe if you are so minded. Lots of events including the August Arts festival and lots of concerts, choral performances and also films and other entertainment at the eccentrically named Sylvester Horne Institute , itself a wonderful Arts and Crafts building. Easy access to beautiful Ludlow and historic Shrewsbury and a host of attractions and charming villages with pubs. I am happy to help with info on any of these things. I love where I live and love to share it. Guest access Bedroom, bathroom ( next to bedroom) kitchen, garden/terrace, garage for bikes, utility room. During your stay I will be around - probably in the garden if the weather's good ) Female solo travellers are particularly welcome. You are welcome to use the kitchen , where there is room to eat as well as the cloakroom area. In the evenings I will tend to retire, but there are plenty of pubs etc. to visit in Church Stretton, and lots of events too. Luggage can be dropped off and stored securely on your first or last day so you can make the most of your time here. Please contact me if you want to do this. Other things to note Please note the room is small and basic - fine for sleeping but not for anything else. Very comfortable bed and all natural bedding for a great night's sleep. You are welcome to use the garden and large kitchen area.
