Upon arrival, one is greeted by the multi-pitch roof with deep overhangs, which provide protection from annual snowfalls averaging 15m as well as channel daylight and ventilation through its high clerestory windows. Spanning approximately 500sqm, the luxury chalet boasts streamlined interiors with a material palette of wood, glass and steel alongside a universally appealing neutral colour scheme. Kazahana features two master bedrooms with king-size beds and ensuite bathrooms fitted with sculptural Hinoki bathtubs. It also has one bedroom and two other bedrooms with two bunk beds each, accommodating a total of 14 people. With soaring ceilings, the central living and dining area offers spectacular views through the panoramic picture windows. The space speaks of sophistication with unique objets d’art and curated art pieces peppered throughout; it also has a wine cellar under the spiral staircase.
