Large room in a converted Chapel on Dartmoor

Relax in our beautifully converted 19th Century Chapel on the edge of Dartmoor National Park. Located in the peaceful hamlet of Hoo Meavy, we are just a few minutes from the A386 which links the bustling port city of Plymouth and the historic market town of Tavistock. We are both ideal to explore Dartmoor from on foot or bike and close to the beautiful south Devon and North Cornwall coasts We are also within easy reach of Derriford Hospital if you are supporting a friend or relative. The space A spacious first-floor double bedroom with a king size bed and a seating area overlooking the rolling fields on the edge of Dartmoor. There is hanging space, a fridge, and tea and coffee making facilities in the room. The bathroom along the landing is for your sole use. It contains a full size bath and a separate shower. Guest access Main access is through the front door adjacent to the road. Parking is next to the front door . A continental breakfast will be provided every morning . The kitchen and dining room area can be made available to guests at other times. Access to a secure double garage can be made available for guests to store bikes/ paddle boards etc Guests are welcome to use the large patio to the rear of the Chapel to relax, During your stay The hosts will be around during your stay, and are always happy to give advice on the local area. This location is excellent for hiking and all forms of cycling. The hosts are keen walkers and cyclists and would be delighted to share the best local routes with guests. They are also happy to advise on the best beaches on both the North and South coasts. Other things to note A homemade Devon Cream Tea can be available on arrival (or at any other time!) by request and at a small cost. The Chapel is on the Dartmoor Way walking route around the perimeter of Dartmoor, The Devon C2C Route 27, and National Cycle routes 272 and 274.
