Peaceful Driftless A-Frame

Nestled among two acres in the rolling hills and lush greenery of the Driftless Area, this A-frame cabin stands as a serene retreat, blending harmoniously with its natural surroundings. The decor is a blend of modern comforts and rustic elements, with comfortable furnishings. Seated in the heart of the Kickapoo valley, there's no shortage of class 1 trout streams near by, public hunting easements, UTV trails, hiking, canoeing and easy access to all of the wonderful amenities the area offers. The space The A-frame cabin features an open floor plan with a cozy lofted bedroom as well as an additional private bedroom. Both bedrooms have comfortable queen beds and there's an additional full-sized pullout bed in the living room. The living room features wooden paneling that extends to the point and comfortable recliner seating where you can kick back and enjoy your favorite show on the SmartTV. Natural light beams in form two large sliding glass doors, bringing the beauty of the outdoors into the space. The fireplace is the focal point of the room and serves as a cozy retreat for gatherings and warmth on chilly evenings. The kitchen is compact but well-equipped with all the essentials you'll need to prepare a delicious meal. In the bathroom, you'll find plenty of fresh towels and toiletries and a walk-in shower with built-in seating. The spacious porch extends the living space, providing a tranquil setting for morning coffee, bird watching or stargazing at night. The backyard features a stone firepit with seating for six as well as a 7-burner BBQ grill for summer cookouts. Please do plan to bring your own firewood for your stay. The front yard is the perfect place to set-up some of the outdoor games kept in the deck box on the porch for your enjoyment. Guest access During your stay, you're welcome to enjoy the entirety of the cabin. However, please keep in mind that this is my family cabin that I'm making available for fellow travelers. Please respect my home and belongings as you would your own. Other things to note The cabin is in a remote area and you will not have cellular service. I recommend downloading the area on your preferred GPS app to ensure ease of getting around. In the cabin I have high-speed internet setup and if you enable WIFI calling on your phone, you should be able to use your phone as you would normally. As mentioned, the area is surrounded by nature, so good bug spray is a must. I recommend OFF Deep Woods or Picaridin for the mosquitos and ticks as well as Buggins for the gnats. It is not uncommon to see many deer at night on the roads so please drive with caution and use your brights if you're planning on arriving at night. Please note that firewood is not included with each stay so please plan to bring some if you’re trying to have a bonfire, thanks!
