Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Enjoy pond views and incredible sunsets from the top patio deck. This property is on the 2nd & 3rd floors of the barn, so there are stairs. Also the "bedroom area" picture is a loft area with a trundle bed, (2 twin beds) - the room is open to the downstairs main living area. The game room has pool, shuffle and foosball tables, darts and a bar area. There is also a basketball court in the back yard. Inground pool in the summer. The space We are located in the quiet country town of Brooklyn CT. Home to the oldest running agricultural fair in the United States, a must visit during the last week in August annually. We are 2 minutes from historic scenic route 169, with the airline trail and 2 apple orchards close by (Lapsley and Woodstock). We are 20 minutes away from Putnam CT with many restaurants and antique shops to enjoy. Also approximately 30 minutes from Foxwoods and Mohegan Sun Casinos. Guest access When you pull into the driveway to the left of the house, drive down to the barn and park under the overhang on the right. Let yourself in on the ground level with keyless entry. To the left you will go up the stairs and enter the game room. From there a few more steps up to the main living area with cathedral ceiling and a cozy gas fireplace. There is a large patio overlooking the pond to enjoy from this level. (We put the patio furniture away for the winter months.) The 3rd bedroom (with a door and walk in closet) is on the 3rd floor ...along with the loft bedroom area, which has a trundle bed with 2 twin mattresses and overlooks the main area downstairs. Also enjoy the basketball court (Weather permitting) and the pool area which is open mid-June - mid September usually, as long as the weather cooperates. **Please note: There are 14 stairs up to the game room and several more up to the main area, then stairs up to the 3rd floor.
