Spacious Trailside Studio

Park and hike! Spacious studio set on a trail up Mount Beacon. Your own woodland oasis on the edge of Beacon city limit. The studio has high ceilings and a separate loft play/seating area. The space The property is a wooded lot with a stream and front and back yards. We live in the main house - the brick part, and there are 2 guest houses/additions with their own entrances through the back yard. There is a covered gazebo and outdoor seating in the back for your use. We tend to use the front yard and leave the back for our guests. There is a big fenced-in area for dogs in the front. Please let us know if you want to enter that area so that we can manage our own dog, Sookie. She is an excellent host, but some find her TOO enthusiastic. Guest access Access to the house is up a dirt driveway that doubles as the service road to the Mt. Beacon reservoir. In case of snow or any other reason, you are welcome to park on the street in front of the house and we can help with your bags. The guest houses have their own private entrances, and we offer self-check in with lockboxes. Other things to note We set the search parameters for 2 people because there is just one queen bed, but the space has a floor mattress and is roomy enough to accommodate a couple traveling with kids.
