Step back in time while staying in this 1970 Airstream Overlander. This 28-foot pet-friendly RV has all its original charm plus modern amenities, including, mini split air conditioning and heat, Wi-Fi, TV, and a Nespresso machine. Our curated collection of board games, cassette tapes, and Atari provides a delightfully retro experience. The Airstream is on a half-acre campground surrounded by 400 acres of state land. Enjoy nearby fishing, hiking, kayaking, or biking along the 26-mile Rail Trail. The space Relax and recharge in this hilltop forest setting while toasting mallows in the fire. Finish the night gazing at the stars from the hammock. The well-equipped 1970 Airstream Overlander has a dining table and kitchenette containing a sink, one-burner cooktop, mini fridge, Ninja Foodi air fryer oven, and cupboards stocked with dishes, pots and pans, oil, and basic spices. The outdoor area is also equipped with a BBQ and fire pit cook station. Cast Iron pans and a Dutch oven are available to use indoor or outdoors. Up to four adults can stay at this site. Get comfy in our convertible full-size memory foam daybed topped with comfortable and colorful pillows. The front sofa converts into a queen-size sleep space or a prime Atari gaming or TV streaming area. One additional child can sleep on a 24” wide memory foam mattress across from the full-size bed upon request. A small workspace table folds out for anyone who needs to work remotely while connected to the high-speed internet. A compact bathroom includes a toilet, shower, and tub and is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and towels. Hot water is provided by an on-demand hot water heater but please note that the pressure may be lower than a traditional home. A half-height wardrobe provides hanging space for clothing, and four small drawers underneath can also store belongings. Due to the camper's limited space, we recommend traveling with a soft-sided bag instead of a suitcase. Please, make yourself at home but stay within the graveled area of the lower campground for your safety. Other things to note Please remember you're camping in a vintage airstream, not a hotel or traditional home. Please treat the space with respect. If any problems arise, we will do our best to take action as soon as possible, but no one is on site 24/7. Due to the forest setting, bugs and critters cannot be entirely prevented from entering the camper, although we make every effort with monthly insect and pest control services. Please keep all foodstuff in sealed containers. Interior/exterior bug spray is provided, along with bug spray for your use. Please be prepared for the bugs, pack long sleeves and pants for a more comfortable nighttime experience, and apply bug spray. Up to two well-trained Dogs or well-traveled cats are allowed upon request. A $25 pet fee will be collected for fur removal, and you may be subject to fines if damages or cleaning complications occur. The property is surrounded by a heavily wooded area with wildlife. Pups should be leashed when outside to avoid wildlife encounters and minimize tick exposure. To stay, all pets must be on a Flea/Tick/Heartworm preventative treatment. Although our cleaning team does a thorough job between stays, people with severe pet allergies may not be comfortable staying here. The Camper is a small space with lower ceilings than a typical home. It may be uncomfortable for large people. The Airstream is one of two campers at the Hilltop Vintage Campground. There is another camper located at the space above this camper and a home located below. If you would like more privacy, please reach out about renting both sites. There is limited storage space for clothing and personal items in the camper. Packing in a soft-sided travel bag or backpack will allow you to place your belongings in the wardrobe cabinet or slide your bag under the bed and out of the way. Roller bags are not recommended. Filtered well water is supplied to the camper, and a Brita is provided. Please note that the on-demand hot water heater provides hot water but at a slightly lower pressure and temperature than a typical home. This is a carry-in, carry-out facility for trash. No trash or food items can be left outdoors during or following your stay, or it may attract local wildlife, including bears. Trash disposal is available for an additional fee of $10 but must be arranged PRIOR to booking. If trash is left on the property, you will be charged a fee.
