Lonnie Ocean Beach House

A peaceful ocean side retreat where you can hear and smell the surf, in a quiet part of old Point Lonsdale. Our light filled living areas, deck and garden are the perfect place to rest and rejuvenate. Deliberately wifi free, this is a place to switch off and enjoy the tea trees, bird life, the sunshine in the warmer months, or the fire in winter. Stroll over the sand dune for a walk on the beach or a swim, and come back to a warm outdoor shower. An easy 10 minute walk to the village. The space Our little haven is powered by 100% green power, we have on site vegetable composting and rain water storage for irrigation. We have a King size bed in the main bedroom with ensuite, a queen size bedroom and a bunk room with 2 bunk beds (4 beds in total). Outdoor things at the house: • Gas BBQ. The tank is in the cupboard under. • Hot and Cold Outdoor shower. Heaven after a swim to wash off the salt. Please don’t use soaps or detergents as it drains to the garden. • Outdoor table for 8 with directors chairs and market umbrella. • 2 x outdoor arm chairs • 1 x outdoor day bed Indoor things at the house Kitchen: • Dishwasher • Microwave • Single oven • Ceramic electric cooktop (it gets hot so do not forget and don’t treat it like induction) • High speed blender, kettle, toaster, ice cream maker (bowl in the freezer), and old food processer, a mandolin (amazing for salads but use the guard and be careful!), stick and hand blenders, Stove top expresso makers (2/3 person and 4/6 person), Nespresso machine, soda maker and bottles. If you need the instruction manuals these are in the black display book in the dining area sideboard (bottom drawer) • All the utensils we think we will ever need. • Spices and cookbooks. Living/Dining Area: • DVD player • CD player • Bluetooth Soundbar (see How Tos to connect your phone) • A puzzle board under the sofa. • The sideboards stock DVDs, CDs, puzzles, games, placemats and stationery essentials. We don’t have: • Wifi. We like the house without too much tech so we chill. There is a DVD player and DVD’s you are welcome to enjoy. Other things to note No pets please as the area is a cat free zone and the garden isn't enclosed.
