Description
This is a well appointed 2 bedroom 1 bath older lake front cottage with a full eat in kitchen, breakfast bar, dining area, screened porch and multiple decks. There is internet and a smart tv. Washer and dryer are in the unfinished shed attached to the carport. No parking of vehicles, etc. in carport as it is at an incline and can have wash out areas. The small bathroom is located off of the queen bedroom with access only through the bedroom. The space This may be a small cottage, but it is packed with resort features! Wake up to fresh coffee of choice from a Keurig coffee maker, watch tv on a 40" flat screen or just enjoy the breeze on a beautiful solid wood rocker on the screen porch. Guest access Access to a canoe, equipment, etc. Use of these items are at your own risk. These items are used and is in as is condition. Host does not guarantee condition of these items, but provides them at no cost for your enjoyment. As well, we do not guarantee internet speed, etc. as this is a country property and is reliant on what the service company provides. Other things to note There is a queen bed in the master bedroom and a double bed in the second bedroom. The entry to the bathroom is in the queen bedroom. So you must enter the queen bedroom to get to the bathroom. The lake may contain wildlife which could include alligators, snakes, etc. Additional items to know, but are not limited to: The TV is a smart tv with streaming capabilities. The gear for canoe is in the laundry area of the enclosed carport. Please note that these items are used and are in as is condition. We do not guarantee the condition of these items. Please use them at your own risk. We have provided a Keurig coffee maker with an initial small sampling of complimentary K cups, creamers and sugars for your enjoyment. We will also supply one bath towel and wash cloth per guest. You may wish to bring additional ones if you would like more. The cottage is on septic so please DO NOT flush anything in the toilet except toilet paper. This includes NOT flushing personal hygiene products as wipes, feminine products, etc. In addition, please do not rinse/wash any grease from pans or dishes down the drain. Guests are responsible to purchase their own gas cylinders for the grill located outside. Please note, DO NOT smoke/vape/use electronic cigarettes inside the home. We have provided seating and ash trays outside on the deck for smoking. Please insure all doors and windows are closed so that smoke does not permeate inside. Also, all garbage needs to be bagged and tied and then be placed in the trash cans by the car port or street. During the summer, please do not set the AC below 73 degrees as this will cause the unit to malfunction and freeze, causing failure. In the winter, please do not set the unit above 78 degrees. When leaving, please leave on AC and set it to 78 or heat to 68. Please do not turn AC or heat off unless instructed to do so. If you are staying at the home for a celebration, please note that streamers, etc. may not be taped or affixed to the walls, furniture, etc. Confetti is prohibited. Please note that the home/property is for the sole use of the guests under this reservation. No events/gatherings/parties/other people are allowed. Please be aware while we welcome children, the home is not child proof. If you must pick up decor, etc. so they are out of the way, then please be sure to put things back before check out. Do not rearrange any of the furniture as it will mark the floors. All activities such as swimming, canoeing, etc. are at your own risk. Please be aware that the lake may contain wildlife such as alligators, snakes, etc. Do not drive in the yard to gain access to the back yard or to get to the lake. The septic system is to the left side of the house and can be damaged by doing this. If you or your party do drive in the yard, you may be held liable for any damage done to the septic system, tanks, pipes, etc. At the time of check out, all vehicles and personal property must be removed from the property. We are not able to accommodate parking of your vehicle at our home after check out or storing your luggage/etc. Also, all garbage must be bagged and tied and then placed in the trash cans outside by the road. Please hang up any damp/wet linens to keep them from mildewing. As well, please wash, dry and put away your dishes. Guests who damage the unit/items, cause stains or leave the premises in disrepair that requires more than routine cleaning, will be charged for such damage or cleaning, as well as for all missing items. Please respect our special place as if it were your own. Please note that on reservations I may not accept alterations to shorten the stay or decrease the number of guests especially if it is for an extended stay, during the cancelation period or during the reservation time frame. On extended stays, we require that the guest provide their own linens ie: pillows/sheets/blankets/bath and kitchen linens. If this poses an issue for you then please let me know at the time of booking so that we may discussion options like a deposit for the linens, etc.
