1-year long term only. Quiet, safe, clean and tidy in a historic house, 5-min walk to UMSL, 10-min walk to Metrolink stop and ELS, 6-min drive to airport, 9-min to Delmar Loop, 10-min drive to Boeing or Clayton, 10-min bus ride to Express Scripts, and 18-min drive to downtown. A full-size bed in this sun room with big windows, independent heating and cooling. Kitchen, bathroom and dinning room will be shared. Metrolink & bus stops, restaurants & stores are close and easy to find here. You'll have a very bright (if you open the curtains sunroom on the 1st floor with a brand new A/C and a new ceiling fan with a remote control. We'll share the kitchen, room and the living room. There's a full bathroom on the 2nd floor and a half bathroom in the basement. If you love nature, you'd love this room because you can see the green views in the backyard in three directions. Parking instructions: Park on the street: 1 spot under the big oak tree along my curb, 2 spots along the curb of the east neighbor (#8239), 2 spots along the curb of the west neighbor (#8253). You can park along any neighbor's curb, even several houses east or west on either side of the road, but NO PARKING along the curb of the south neighbor's curb (#8244). NO PARKING by the persimmon tree along my curb! NO parking across from any neighbor's driveway! No parking against the flow of traffic! Park on my driveway for unloading and loading purposes only, or on heavy snow days (coordination needed). There's a Metrolink stop on the north campus of the University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL), which is right across the street, and another Metrolink stop on the UMSL south campus. There are bus stops, restaurants and convenience stores on the Natural Bridge Road. The grocery stores are also close and easy to find. Just search for them on the Internet map. Don't even consider this listing 1. if you want to stay in a new house. This is a private room in a historic house. 2. if you want a private bathroom. The 1.5 baths are shared, NOT private. 3. if you like it very warm in the winter. This room is NOT part of the main house and thus may be cold to you in winter. Several international guests from the tropical countries have stayed here long term with no issues, but people have different temperature requirements in winter. So if you don't like it cold, do NOT book this room because the space heater may not be enough to keep you warm in this room. 4. if you need to work all day in this room in winter. There's a new space heater in this room but the heater should NOT be on 24 hours a day. It needs to take breaks. Therefore, if you book this room in winter, you will have to work in the living room or dining room and only sleep in this room. 5. If you can't apply for an occupancy permit from the city hall during the first 3 days, because an occupancy permit is required by the city here.
