You will be close to everything Hobart has to offer when you stay at this 3-bedroom, centrally located home. It is warm, light-filled and comfortable, with glorious views over the Derwent River and kunanyi (Mt Wellington). You will have fast internet, a sit-stand workstation, indoor-outdoor living spaces, a well-equipped kitchen, and lots of art and books to enjoy. The home is quiet and private, with off-road parking and easy access to public transport and a short walk to the beach. The space Welcome to my beautiful, light-filled, comfortable home in the beachside suburb of Bellerive. You will have the whole house and garden to enjoy. The combined living and dining rooms open up onto a sheltered patio to one side, and to a large deck with views over the river and mountain on the other side. At the front of the house, there is another large, covered balcony that also has views all the way down the river. You will have access to three bedrooms. The first bedroom has lovely views down the river. It is quiet and comfortable. It has a double bed and a large built-in wardrobe with lots of space for your clothes, and a heater for those cooler days and nights. In this room, there is also a sit-stand work desk with double screens for your use. The second bedroom is spacious and has a single bed and a cot. It has a large built-in wardrobe and a heater. If you are travelling with children, there are plenty of toys and books, and a baby monitor is also available. The third bedroom is downstairs, has its own entrance, and is accessed via an external pathway (please note there is no internal access to the third bedroom - which is a great option for couples travelling together as there is lots of privacy, also great for teenagers). The third bedroom is very large with a queen-sized bed, living space, additional seating, and an adjacent outdoor area with table and chairs. It is well heated and also has plenty of storage space for your clothes. All bedrooms have block out blinds and additional bedding and pillows available. The house has heating throughout, including in all bedrooms, and reverse cycle air conditioning. The kitchen is well-equipped including coffee machine, combination microwave air fryer, oven, induction cooktop and large fridge. You are welcome to use condiments from the pantry and fridge. The views from the kitchen window are magnificent. There is a front-loader washing machine in the laundry with washing liquid provided, iron and ironing board. The laundry also has a second toilet. The garden is green and inviting whether you are using the patio, back deck or front verandah. There is plenty of outdoor furniture, and outdoor umbrellas for the hotter days. The kitchen dining area has bi-fold doors that open up to the patio, ensuring you can make the most of the indoor-outdoor living spaces. If you are travelling with children, there is a cubby house, slide, sandpit and monkey bars in the front garden. Bellerive is a 6-minute drive from the centre of Hobart, and there is off road parking at the rear of the house. There is plenty of public transport available, with both bus and ferry services within a 5-to-10-minute walk. Bellerive beach is a 5-minute walk away. It is a lovely, safe beach, beautiful for walking at any time of year, and for swimming year-round if you enjoy the cool, clean Tasmanian water. There are well-designed walk and cycle tracks alongside the beach with beautiful walks around the river that go on forever in both directions - take your pick! One way will lead you onto the next beach in Howrah, and the other will take you through Bellerive village, around the yacht club, through parklands and to the bridge that leads to the city.
