A stylish country home set within the heart of a traditional Herefordshire village, perfect for a countryside getaway with family or friends. There a variety of walking from the doorstep, including Offas Dyke Path and Hergest ridge, and it is also the perfect base for exploring other ares if interest, such as Leominster, famed for its variety of antique and curiosity shops, Ludlow, Hay-on-Wye, the Elan Valley, Bannau Brycheiniog, the Wye Valley and the Forest of Dean. The space Set within its own grounds, the front door leads into a spacious entrance hall and a spacious ground which is characterful and perfect for spending time together. From the hallway there is a cosy lounge finished with calm soft furnishings, a wood burner and TV, and there is a cool, contemporary kitchen with ample workspace and facilities for food preparation and a large table and chairs where you can keep the chef company whilst enjoying a glass of wine. Guests also have the choice of a formal dining room situated off the kitchen, where you can dine in style with garden views. There is also a WC on the ground floor. The solid wooden staircase offers access to a spacious landing with a reading nook. Guests have the choice of three beautifully finished and generously sized bedrooms. A king-size room with wooden panelled walls and an en-suite shower and WC, a double room with exposed beam work and garden views, and a twin room with queen size beds also enjoying garden views. A family bathroom with free standing claw foot bath, separate shower, and WC. Outside you have access to a beautifully landscaped and private gardens, a patio area for summer dining with table and chairs and BBQ. A wood fired hot tub has been well-secluded to the rear of the gardens where you can soak and enjoy the dark skies. A summer house with seating, a desk and mini fridge where you can hide away with a good book. There is a storage area for bikes and ample off-road parking to the front. Guest access Guests will have exclusive use of the property during their stay, including closing gates to the front of the to a gravel drive with ample private parking for multiple cars. Guests have access to the entire 3 bedroom house with lounge, large kitchen with table and chairs and separate dining room which is set within its own enclosed private gardens. Other things to note 2 High chairs and 2 travel cots are available on request. Towels included. Over Christmas and New Year, we will not be able to accommodate mid week check-ins so check-in will be at weekend only.
