Havslätt cottage by the sea

Welcome to your magical, peaceful haven located between sea & forest. A beach & small boat harbour across the road, look from the front porch to the mythic 'Blå Jungfren' island. Further out are Öland & Gotland. Situated next to Havslätt eco Camping. A summer house full of enchanting details, vintage textiles, homewares, books & art. Large front+back garden of mature trees & flowers. A match for all who will enjoy this simple house & the superb value for money. The space This is a traditional Swedish summer house. Very tranquil and earthy, a simple cottage that’s easy to be in and take care of. Set back on a gentle slope, with a large front yard and trees lining the border with street below. The front of the house has a lovely porch that overlooks the sea and is very wonderful to have breakfast on. There’s an equally large back garden with mature trees and relaxing back patio area that gets all the evening sun. On a quiet suburban street, 5 minutes drive from Oskarshamn and food shopping . A newly refurbished beach is directly across the street from the house - with a new wooden pier into the bay for swimming and sunbathing. There’s a popular indoor/outdoor patio restaurant and shaded mini golf park across the street, next to the beach. On weekends, they sometimes share live music. Havslätt eco camping site is next door. Cottage has been in the same family for several generations. You will fall in love with the many thoughtful touches created by its artistic and gentle owner. The house comprises of: A living room with dining table and large sofa (v comfy - sleeps one) 2 bedrooms: 1x small bunk bed room sleeping two 1x large bedroom sleeping up to three (fold out double bed sofa + a single mattress) Small and fully equipped kitchen painted a deep azure blue! with old yet fully functioning small fridge, oven/stove and a new benchtop toaster/oven Bathroom with toilet. Separate shower - located in little hallway between living room and kitchen. Hot water lasts around 5-7 minutes, then it reheats in 1.5 hours. Front porch overlooking the front garden and out to sea - accessed through the large bedroom. Back patio area overlooking big yard - accessed through the living room/back door with round table for eating. Super relaxing swinging sofa and large, old rocking chair. *Please note this summer house does not have WIFI or a TV Guest access All of it - house, front and back Other things to note GETTING AROUND 4.3 kilometers to Oskarshamn 5 minutes to Coop supermarket. 5 minutes into Oskarshamn by car 7-10 minutes by bus Oskarshamn 'Lilla Torget Market' (flowers, food, clothes etc.) 10am-2pm every Wed & Sat Closest bus stop is 'Havslätt' - for #47 bus Bus stop is 3 mins walk > turn left out of property > walk uphill to E22 on Fiskarstugen alongside Havslātt Camping RECYCLING Kommun recycling bins (glass, paper, card metal, plastic separated) are located just across the street from Havslätt bus stop PROPERTY DETAILS House garbage bin is picked up on street outside property, every other Friday Private parking on site Guests can do laundry 2x per week by reservation, at Havslätt Camping. Go to their welcome kiosk to ask for Johan and get key to their laundry room 3x adult, 1x child bikes with locks available for guest use, stored under house 1x Kayak available for guest use, stored under house. Many life vests in closet for canoeing and kayaking You can rent more kayaks next door at Havslätt Camping. Landing dock / slip pier just out in front of restaurant, across the street from property. Many biking and walking trails. A popular one is just behind Havslātt Camping: Fallebo Gården trail and 19thC Farm & animal menagerie.
