Habitat Under the Oak

We found this place 15 years ago. A ruined farm, built in 1880, in the middle of nowhere, actually in the middle of the forest. From the beginning, we knew that we would not demolish, but try to restore the habitat to life on our own. Our dream was to create a place you don't want to leave. We are convinced that we have succeeded. This is confirmed by our friends, family, neighbors, dog and cat. We decided to share it. With you. So we invite you... The space We have adapted one of the outbuildings into a house for you, our guests. On the ground floor you will find a comfortable, rustic living room illuminated with warm light and the glow of fire with an old table, comfortable chairs, a soft sofa, a fully equipped kitchen and a stylish bathroom. Upstairs, there are two minimalist but comfortable bedrooms, an extra sleeping area, a bright bathroom and an atmospheric balcony overlooking the nearby alders. In front of the entrance to the house there is a small but cozy terrace Guest access As we live in a separate building, the entire area of the house is at your disposal. Other things to note At your disposal is a place to park your car, a badminton net and rackets, a swing on an over a hundred-year-old oak tree, a barbecue, three bicycles, a rocking deckchair under an umbrella for a nap. Upon request, we can provide our gazebo with a place for feasting, a fireplace, a smokehouse and a pizza oven. Next to the house there is a wood-fired hot tub available all year round. From our house, you can reach three large lakes within ten minutes, and you can reach many interesting places, cities or towns in less than an hour. You can walk, explore the area on bicycles, and most of all, you can do nothing ;). This is what we do best. Sometimes only the clangor of cranes or the barking of neighbors' dogs will interfere.
