Adobe Hut in Eco-Village with Great View
Description
Kausay Punku is a little eco village, 15min by car from Pisac (1h from Cusco). The location is great for nature lovers and people who want to disconnect from the city life and reconnect with Pachamama. It's also very close to Pisaq Archaeological Park, three mountain lakes and also Potato Park Peru. Life here is very peaceful and back to the roots - no electricity in room but in the common areas there is solar power, wifi (fibre-optics for digital nomads) and hot water for shower. The space You will be staying in an Adobe hut constructed with Quincha eco-building techniques. The hut has been hand crafted with love and care, with murals of sacred inca symbols adorning the walls. Your will be relaxing amongst our beautiful organic garden beds and medicinal plant sanctuary, nestled in the majestic Andean mountains and with the backdrop of Incan terraces in the distance. Instead of the latest TV series, during the evenings you can watch the formidable show of the night sky (there is no luminous pollution). At night the lighting in your bedroom is made with candles. And your cooking can be done in a traditional adobe brick oven. This is a place based on equality and wellness. Absolutely everybody is welcome here, no matter of race, religion, ethnicity etc. Guest access Guests can access: the common kitchen and common sitting/events space with ELECTRICITY AND WIFI, the running water toilet, sinks and hot water shower, the dry toilet, the electric washer and clothes lines to dry clothes, the pyramid meditation/relaxing space. We also have an exercise meadow with weights and workout bench. In a 5-min walk from the eco village there is a small village shop where you can buy ingredients for cooking, fruits, vegetables, toiletries etc - very well stocked. Other things to note The guests can buy natural essential oils, creams, and lip balms from different plants, which are made on site. The prices are very competitive in comparison with other more touristic locations. Please bring a headlamp, flash light, or phone light since your hut has no electricity (kitchen and comfy living room do have electricity). The kitchen has no refrigerator, but you will be given a shelf and plastic bin with cover to store your food and supplies in. And lastly I'd like to point out we have a few other accommodation possibilities if this one isn't fully to your liking: 2 other quincha huts, identical in size but with their own unique murals and paintings, 3 Earthen rooms for up to 3 people in adobe houses, a bit more space and with electricity in the rooms.
