This charming room has a matrimonial/double bed, a closet and opens onto a balcony overlooking a garden patio with a table and chairs, where you can enjoy your breakfast listening to birds. After breakfast you can relax in a hammock. The space CASA DE LA VIDA is a quiet and tranquil guesthouse for those seeking a well deserved rest to relax and regenerate body and soul. We have three rooms available: BUDDHA Room, RIVERA Room, AMETHYST Room (all double occupancy or single) which are listed on AIRBNB. RIVERA Room: Double Bedroom with private bathroom. All linen, towels and toiletries are provided. Full Breakfast including, fresh juices, fresh fruits and a taste of authentic Mexican food (fresh eggs, chilaquiles, tortillas, beans,etc.) We are located at the foothills of Tepoztlan mountains only 20 mins. walk from the center of town. The town of Tepoztlan is an hour away from Mexico DF and the international airport, which makes it very convenient for international travellers. A direct bus will bring you to Cuernavaca , about 30 mins from Tepoztlan and then a taxi will bring you directly to our door. The town of Cuernavaca is also known as the City of Eternal Spring. This part of Mexico is known for its mild weather and pleasant temperatures for most of the year which makes it an ideal holiday spot. Guests have for their use a spacious living room that opens onto a garden patio that leads to an organic garden. Our guests enjoy free Wi-Fi; a TV with excellent DVD library, mountain hikes, local market that is well known for its quality products, local food, fruits and vegetables, cafes and restaurants, the well known El Tepozteco pyramid (an Aztec temple) built on top of the Tepozteco Mountain with amazing views of the whole valley. Guest access Our guests have access to a large and comfortable living room, where they can watch their favourite DVDs chosen from our large collection; relax in hammocks in our gardens and patios while enjoying tea or coffee and other beverages of their choice; read their favourite book/s; have access to a private car park. During your stay Since we are a guesthouse, there is almost always someone present. We take care of guests in a friendly manner, while respecting their privacy. If they are new to Tepoztlán, we give advice on restaurants and places of interest, and any other help they may need. On many occasions we take them to town and show them the highlights. Other things to note There is a mature cat who is on the property, but stays mostly in my apartment which is separate from the guest area.
