The rest of the downstairs comprises of new modern kitchen and bathroom Upstairs there are 2 bedrooms with kingsize and small double bed plus seating and mirrors Outside, a landscaped enclosed garden with seating, dining table and lighting, perfect for relaxing/ BBQ! The space Having visited Anglesey regularly we fell in love with the place and decided we wanted to find a way to be able to go more often. Purchased in 2020 it was almost a year (due to the pandemic) before we could properly get our sleeves rolled-up and crack on with the renovations! With its location in the centre of the island, in a village called Llanerchymedd, the house had been owned by just one family (Ted’s) since it was built. Although structurally sound, it definitely needed bringing into the 21st century!. The neighbours and trade people would call the house ‘Ted’s Place’ so the name kind of stuck! The plan was always to enhance what was already there and try to keep anything that was still in good working order. Anything that we added to the house was to be re-cycled, re-used, bought second-hand or given to us. We definitely didn’t want to be throwing away anything that was still good and we were against buying brand-new unless we really had to. The majority of the artwork you will see in the house has been created by us using old wood found mainly in skips!! We would love to invite you to visit ‘Ted’s Place’ and explore the whole of the island …. there’s so much more to see than the tourist coastal hot-spots! Guest access You have the whole house and garden Other things to note Parking - there is a carpark (Wellington St) across the road from the school where you can park for free. Electric parking - there is an electric car charger in the playground public car park opposite the Morrisons Local. This carpark is also free to use for general parking.
