Chapel Cottage

Our Devon cob cottage is Grade 2 listed and is situated in Broadhempston (a peaceful traditional village in the middle of beautiful South Devon countryside). The village hosts 2 pubs and a wonderful community run village shop selling a wide range of groceries and local produce. The village is close to Totnes and Ashburton and short journey to the seaside with many beach options. It is also within easy reach of Dartmoor National Park. Enjoy lovely local walks through the nearby community forest. The space The cottage has two living rooms, both with fireplaces. You can find firewood in the covered shed out the front. The kitchen opens into the garden room with a long dining table and additional lounge area. The cottage has 3 bedrooms. One double bedroom is located on the ground floor next to a separate toilet. Upstairs you’ll find two bedrooms, a double bedroom and the kid’s room with a bunk bed and another small double bed. The family bathroom is also upstairs. Watch your HEAD when you’re going in and coming out if it….very low head room. Guest access You will have access to the whole cottage, which includes 3 bedrooms, one bathroom, one toilet downstairs, two sitting rooms, one garden room off the kitchen space and private garden with apple orchard, small pond and kids trampoline. There is room for one car next to entrance. There is also off-street parking for another car if necessary. There is more public parking available. Other things to note The cottage has its own eco-friendly biodigester sewage system. Please only flush loo paper or else you’ll risk a blockage.
