Nestled in a prime spot, halfway up the street with views of Borth y Gest bay, this cottage will put a smile on your face from entering the front gate. At the front door you can check the tide level in the harbour and decide what to do first; dog walk, paddleboard or simply relax with another coffee, or walk to one of the other beautiful beaches. Mountains can be seen from the front door. Enter the lounge and you’ll be surprised with the open, yet cosy space. The interior style is clever mix of old meets new, with an original exposed slate fireplace, quirky upcycled finds and local art, but with all the modern touches to make your stay comfortable. An electric log burner provides instant warmth and the comfy sofas mean that everyone can watch the smart TV or play games together. The lounge opens into the large kitchen dining area with views out onto the patio and woods beyond. It’s fully equipped with American-style fridge / freezer with ice maker, induction hob, oven and dishwasher. Enjoy eating and entertaining at the dining table and with the patio doors open, you can decide whether to eat inside or al fresco. On the first floor there is a double room facing the rear of the property and a twin room facing the front. The bathroom has a bath and shower. The top floor has a stunning master en-suite with amazing views of the village, estuary and mountains. Lay in bed and be mesmerised by the view and ever-changing skies. The outside area has several seating areas to make the most of the views and the sun throughout the day. There’s a large outside table and chairs, BBQ and gate onto a communal green which is a safe place for young children to play. Other useful things to know about the place are that it’s incredibly practical. Inside there’s a handy storage area for all your walking, cycling or beach gear. Downstairs WC and washing machine. Outside there’s a hose pipe for washing off dogs, boots and sandy feet. The shed can be used for bike or paddleboard storage. This property is in a prime location for making the most of your time in the area. 30 min drive to Snowden for walking, a choice of golf courses, Zip World and dog friendly beaches for miles of walking. Hot tub hire is available, subject to availability through a local supplier for £300 up to a week.
