Description
Our original 1950s beach chalet is nestled in the sand dunes on the South West Coast path overlooking St Ives Bay, just a 3-minute walk to the beach. With sea views, 3 miles of golden sands on your doorstep & beautiful sunsets over St Ives to look forward to, it’s the perfect place to relax & enjoy a family holiday. Being perched in the dunes over the sea makes beach life feel easy & there are great cafes & pubs close by plus sandy play areas for kids on the site. Free parking is also available. The space Our chalet is an original unique wooden beach chalet, with stunning views and 2 mins to the beach. It has 2 bedrooms, a living room small kitchen & shower room, and some spaces to sit outside. Although it sleep 4 people, it's best for 2/3 adults or 2 adults/2 children. We've found 4 adults can just be a bit too squashed for the space. The chalet has good electric wall heaters that can be used, but there is no central heating and free standing heaters are not permitted. We do provide hot water bottles and blankets should it feel colder at night, but if you're someone who really feels the cold you might want to bring some extra layers in the Autumn months. The chalet has a different feel to a house and being right on the coast path, if the weather is unsettled you can feel quite exposed to the wind & rain! Just something to consider when booking! Obviously in the summer it's not really an issue. Guest access Guests have all the chalet plus use of the kids play areas on the site. Guests can also use the grass area with bench in front of the chalet and the grass area behind (up the steps) which is also has a washing rotary line. Parking permitted in our car park only. There is a small shop near by for basic essentials, paper etc. Other things to note While our chalet sleeps 4 it is best for 2 adults plus 1 or 2 children. Or 3 adults max. The chalet is a good size, but as the shower room/living area is small we feel 4 adults would be too many. We like our guests to feel as comfortable as possible so we try to be realistic about this and the space they will have. We know what works well there, so please trust our opinion. Many thanks.
