OUR STORY In the 1980s, an old angler called this house his sanctuary. He lived a simple yet fulfilling life, spending his days fishing in the abundant waters right from the property to the neighboring Olanggo Island. The marine life during that time was so rich and vibrant that the house became a treasure trove of artifacts and stories from the sea. In our living area, you'll find a display of these preserved artifacts, each with its own tale. The very paddle that the old angler used on his fishing expeditions now hangs proudly on our display rack, a testament to his enduring spirit and the history of the home. THE TRANSFORMATION In recent years, this cherished property was inherited and lovingly renovated by its new owners, a pair of visionary architects. They saw the potential to transform the house into a stunning holiday home, while preserving its essence and history. Their goal was to create a space where friends and family could gather and make lasting memories, just as the old angler did in his time. THE SPACE The Old Angler House offers a generous layout, perfect for large gatherings and leisurely retreats: • Five Spacious Bedrooms with Bathrooms: Each room is thoughtfully designed to provide comfort and tranquility, ensuring a restful stay for all guests. • A Grand 16-Seater Dining Area: Ideal for hosting family meals. • A Sparkling Pool: Dive in for a refreshing swim or relax poolside while soaking up the sun and sea breeze. AMENITIES Our home is equipped with a range of amenities to make your stay as enjoyable as possible: • Fully equipped modern outdoor kitchen • Starlink Wi-Fi • Airconditioning in all bedrooms and living/dining areas • 6-car garage • Outdoor BBQ area • Access to beach • Family-friendly with available cribs and high chairs PUBLISHED RATE & EXTRA HEAD CHARGES The published rate covers accommodation for up to 8 guests. We can host up to a maximum of 18 guests at an additional charge of Php2,500 per person per night after the 8th person. BEDROOMS Bedroom 1 (Master's): 1 King Bed (2 guests) Bedroom 2: 2 Queen Beds (4 guests) Bedroom 3: 2 Single Beds (2 guests) Bedroom 4: 2 Single Beds (2 guests) Bedroom 5: 3 Single Beds (3 guests) All bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms. SOFT OPENING This property is currently in its soft opening phase. HOUSE RULES We are delighted to host you at The Old Angler House! Please read through this manual carefully to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay. If you have any questions or need assistance, feel free to reach out. Check-In and Check-Out Schedules: Check-In Time: 3:00 PM Check-Out Time: 11:00 AM Pets: Small-Medium pets are welcome for a fee of Php250.00 per pet. Pets are not allowed on beds and furniture. Pets must wear diapers at all times. Smoking: No smoking inside the house. A designated smoking area with an ashtray is provided outside. A fine of Php5,000 (per room) will be imposed for smoking. Events and Noise: No party events are allowed. Catering services are not permitted. Large speakers (10” and above) and party lights are prohibited. Guests: The number of guests must match the details provided in the guest list. Undeclared guests may be denied entry. The main guest must submit a valid government-issued identification card. For non-Filipinos, a copy of the passport is required. If the booking person is not staying, the main guest or group representative must provide an identification card. Checking In: Upon arrival, the main guest's identification card will be photographed along with the inventory list. Guests are required to sign on the waiver of liability, inventory of items inside the house and pet policy conforme. Checking Out: Before Leaving, we do not charge a cleaning fee, but we kindly ask you to leave the trash in the bins and wash the dishes. We would appreciate if you could return the dinnerware and cutlery to the kitchen or display nook. Caretakers' Responsibilities: Our caretakers are here to assist with the check-in and check-out process and to give you a brief orientation of the house upon your arrival. If you require assistance with washing dishes and taking out the trash, our caretakers can assist you from 8am to 9pm daily. Gratuities are greatly appreciated. Swimming Pool Rules: Pool Hours: 7:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily Water Treatment: 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM Safety: No diving, jumping, or running around the pool deck. Hygiene: Please shower before entering the pool. Sanitation: No eating or drinking inside the pool. Attire: Appropriate swimwear is required. Garden Rules: Please dispose of all garbage in the bins provided and keep the garden clean. We hope you have a relaxing and pleasant stay at The Old Angler House.
