The space Brokenborough Farmhouse is a delightful detached period property set in a quiet village along a single track lane. Dating back to the 17th century it retains much character with just the right amount of quirk - think sloping floors, vaulted beamed ceilings, exposed Cotswold stone walls and adorable little nooks! High end, luxury fixtures and furnishings have been used throughout from original artworks, to Vanessa Arbuthnott fabrics & Pooky lighting to the comfiest beds, pure Egyptian cotton bedding and fluffiest towels & bathrobes. We have teamed up with the lovely folk at Green & Spring to provide the toiletries (shampoo, shower gel and soap) that are all natural, kind to the planet & further enhance our calming and relaxing vibe. Listen for the owls, watch the soaring kestrels and spot the hare and deer in adjoining fields. Although there are no facilities in the village, a great variety of eateries, supermarkets, pubs and independent shops can be found in the nearby market towns of Malmesbury (5 mins drive) and Tetbury (9 mins drive). Cirencester, the capital of the Cotswolds is just 25 mins by car. ** Please note public transport is limited and the nearest train station, Kemble, is 15 mins drive. ** Min 3 night stay No arrivals on a Sunday Guest access The entire property, gardens and outside space are available to guests Check-in time is from 4pm. This is to allow our housekeeping team time to do a thorough clean and ensure every aspect of the house is pristine and impeccably presented for your arrival. If the timetable allows an earlier check-in we will let you know the day before. Check-out time is 10am We may be able to offer an early check-in or late check-out for an additional fee, subject to availability. Please contact the host for more information and to discuss arrangements. There is a minimum 2 night stay & arrivals can be any day except Sunday. Other things to note We provide: A small supply of kitchen basics: teabags, Nespresso coffee pods, instant coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, olive oil, cling film, foil, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, dishcloths, bin liners. Bathroom amenities from Green & Spring (soap, shampoo, shower gel) & a couple of loo rolls in each bathroom 100% Egyptian cotton towels and bed linens, down duvets and pillows. All laundry is washed in non-bio detergent. Dogs We love dogs & appreciate they are important family members too. A small charge of £15 per pooch is charged and we welcome up to 3 per booking. We kindly ask that they are carefully watched & do not go upstairs or on any furniture. Also they must not be left unattended in the property. As the garden is huge we do remind you to please take time to ensure any mess is cleared up before check-out. We would hate for the next guests to discover an unintended present!
