【Homestay】Japanese Tatami Room in Oiso

Japanese-style room with a garden Enjoy the chirping of birds in a serene environment rich in nature! We would be happy to introduce you to the Japanese lifestyle and this town if you wish. Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. You can enjoy the mountains (Shonandaira), the sea (15minute walk), and history during your stay. It is also located in an easy access to Atami and Hakone（40mins by train from Oiso St.） If you come by train, we can pick you up at JR Oiso St on weekends. The space 🏡 Private Room A traditional Japanese-style room (8 tatami mats ≈ 15㎡ / 160 sq ft) with a Engawa. 🛏️ Room Size & Bedding Two semi-double futons can be laid out comfortably. Please see examples below: 2 adults: Ideal for a spacious and relaxing stay. 3 adults: May feel a bit tight, especially if all are men. 2 adults + 2 children: Should be no problem for a comfortable stay. 4 adults: Not impossible, but very compact. You'll need to arrange the bedding carefully and store your luggage on the outside of the room in the house.
