Rocky Point Hut Pepin Island

A secluded piece of paradise, wander to the rock top bath for jaw dropping views. Nestled amongst native kanuka and coastal New Zealand bush, situated on a cliff, is Rocky Point Hut. Stay and unwind in the beautiful and private hut with a comfortable natural wooden interior. Take in all of the incredible surrounding coastal scenery from various lookouts, and watch the spectacular sunsets in the evening. Spend your time relaxing and treat yourself in the hot outdoor bath with a panoramic view over Tasman Bay. The perfect setting for a private adventurous getaway or a stunning and relaxing romantic retreat. A stunning but challenging walk; 3km, 1 - 2 hours, around the Tasman Bay side of Pepin Island is required to reach the hut. But don't despair, we have included transport to the hut if you just want to enjoy the views. Holly will meet you at reception in our farm buggy. Basic, self catering kitchenette; Crockery and utensils, powered chilly bin, camping gas stove, BBQ and fresh spring drinking water. Outdoor hot water bath on the hilltop with a panoramic ocean view and composting toilet. Outdoor seating areas with phenomenal views. Island summit viewpoint, 1 hour walk uphill from Rocky Point Hut. Other things to note We want you to make the most of the island and explore all it has to offer. Please make sure you bring appropriate footwear and clothing. Rocky Point hut is powered by solar, the bath hot water is run by a gas califont. The hut is a reasonably challenging and steep walk from the carpark. please get in touch if you want to book a ride to the hut. This is an additional cost. Please bring a power bank to charge your phones as there is no option to do this in the hut. While our beautiful island is still being built on, we're excited to welcome you to the getaways that are ready for you to enjoy! Please note, you may hear some construction sounds from gravel roads on arrival but the hut is quiet and peaceful. Come join us in watching Pepin Island unfold into its full magic!
