Grace Cottage

Take a break and unwind at this peaceful oasis. Grace Cottage is set in a rural area just minutes from the Turangi township. The cottage is walking distance to great fishing spots. With a reasonably large open plan living area which flows out onto a large deck and 2 good sized bedrooms, there is plenty of room to relax and unwind. Views of farmland, a huge fenced property and lots of fruit trees make for a quiet and spacious country feel. The space Grace Cottage is a great base for your family holiday with so much to do right on your doorstep! From the Tongariro Crossing and National Park, through to fishing or water sports on the Great Lake Taupo - there is always plenty to do. The lounge/dining/kitchen areas are open plan and reasonably spacious, with comfortable seating and opening out onto the large sunny deck. There is an air conditioning unit for warmth in the winter or to keep your cool in the summer. The cottage is 80 square metres so not huge but has a lovely spacious feeling with great indoor/outdoor flow. The modern kitchen is well laid out and has everything you need to cook up a delicious meal. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed and opens out onto the lovely big deck. It catches the sun most of the day and has lovely farm views. Bedroom 2 has a queen bed and a mattress is available for use too, should you need it, it is stored under the bed and sheets will be provided for your use if you request them. We have a high chair and an expanding baby bath that collapses for easy storage. The modern bathroom has a shower, toilet, vanity and laundry facilities. The large spacious grounds look out onto farm land and if the chickens are around over the fence, they will enjoy any food scraps you would like to share with them! With lots of fruit available in season, you can enjoy feijoas too! Guest access You have full access to the entire cottage and garden - please relax and make yourself at home. Other things to note Linen is included with the cleaning fee when you pay. Beds will be made up for you (during the quiet periods) with towels and tea towels also provided. A travel cot/portacot is available upon request for an additional $10 per stay. Please note, this is subject to availability.
