As you drive up the long driveway, you’ll begin to feel yourself relax and embark on a journey into nature. If you plan to check-in after dark, let me know and I'll share helpful directions for navigating at night. With 4 bedrooms (2 KING beds, 4 TWIN BEDS, 1 QUEEN pull out couch) and 2 full baths, this cozy ranch style home features a single pitch roof with walls lined with windows that fill the space in natural light. The highlight is the outdoor area! 23 acres to explore, walk trails, or stay near the cabin to enjoy the amenities. Complete with a fire pit, zipline, 18 foot slide, 2-story treehouse, and giant sandbox. THE ROMAN RETREAT IS NOT THE PLACE TO GATHER FOR CELEBRATIONS, EVENTS OR PARTIES. THIS HOME IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR PARTIES, EVENTS, OR GATHERINGS OF MORE THAN 10 PEOPLE. IF THAT IS YOUR INTENTION, PLEASE CHOOSE ANOTHER PROPERTY. We have a few games, puzzles, and cards. They are located in a drawer in the mud room. The house is stocked with start up supplies of toilet paper, paper towel roll, napkins, dish soap, sponge, dishwasher pods, laundry pods, K-cups and hand soap. However, you will likely need to supplement with your own for stays longer than 2-3 days. We try our best to have 2 bath towels and 1 face towel per person, 2 hand towels per sink. There is some firewood provided but you should plan to bring additional firewood or collect fallen branches nearby. The treehouse is accessible by a flight of steps, in our family you must use the slide to get down. 🤣 If you choose to sleep inside, there are linens ready to make the pull out couch bed. Guest access It is against our policy to host groups, events, gatherings, etc We understand this may seem obvious, but unfortunately we have experienced situations where guests have used the property to host groups during their stay. To protect our home, neighbors, and future guests, WE STRICTLY ENFORCE THIS POLICY. Other things to note We try our best to offer early check-ins & late check-outs for no extra charge! Just ask! NO GUESTS FOR GATHERINGS NO SMOKING ALLOWED NO PETS ALLOWED Please respect that this is our personal home. If kids make a mess or damage something, pick up after them or let us know upon check-out so that we can ensure it can be corrected before our next guest arrives.
