Timoney Lake Cottage

The cottage was built in 2017 with full Amish construction. It is located on Timoney Lake in Oakfield, ME, in the heart of Amish country. The cottage comes with a 16 foot dock with a canoe and two kayaks. Swimming is available, but silty bottom directly in front of cottage. We recommend swimming off a boat in deeper water. This cottage provides great fishing, hunting, four wheeling, and hiking. Enjoy the outdoors with all of the amenities of home! We are 100% pet friendly! The space This cottage has an enclosed bedroom on the main floor with a king size bed. The loft upstairs contains a queen, full, and twin size bed with a traditional house stairway leading up. We offer an 8x24 screened in porch for those nights when you want to fall asleep to the sounds of summer. Bring out an air mattress and enjoy! Guest access Guests have full access to the cottage, water frontage, and small shed filled with lifejackets, paddles, and whatever else you may find useful. There are two kayaks and a canoe available to use. Other things to note If Timoney Lake does not meet your water needs then this cottage is centrally located with both Pleasant Pond and Mattawamkeag lake being 10 minutes in one direction and then Nickerson Lake and Drews Lake being 10 minutes in the opposite direction. This cottage is 42 miles from Baxter State Park and all of the fun that comes with the Mt. Katahdin region.
