The Mount Stephen Guesthouse is a lovely bedroom lower level apartment. It is fully furnished with cozy duvets on the beds, a complete kitchen with full size electric stove and refrigerator. Condiments like tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Comfortable living area, small library and many extras. Fully self-contained suite with private entrance, and all the comforts of home. The space We have spacious, attractive fully self-contained suites with private entrances, and all the comforts of home. - a cozy bedroom with Queen Size Bed - living room with double hide-a-bed and Satellite TV - bathroom with bath and shower - full kitchen with all major and small appliances including - microwave, plus all cooking and serving needs - table and 4 chairs - use of yard and barbecue Breakfast is not provided but we do have coffee, tea, hot chocolate in the room. Guest access You will arrive to the guesthouse from the front yard, you will see 2 doors ours the main residence is to the right and the suite main door is to the left, we will have your name on the door telling you to come in and find your suite, we have 2. Front/Right or Back/Left. Once down the stairs you will have your own unlocked door, key will be inside. After checking in please be sure to close your door. Use of front yard with lawn chairs and lots of room to play, read or relax. Back deck with chairs BBQ and Fire pit. We have another deck around the back of house which is for our private use. Other things to note Field is very small, 140 people who live year round then it gets a bit fuller in the summer months. We have no grocery store, no bank and no fast food outlets. The environment is laid back mountain living. The Parks Canada Visitor centre will be an excellent place to stop in the summer time to get trail conditions, Burgess Shale Information, really neat gifts and other information to fulfill your holiday experience.
